random recipes round-up #36

... christmas just seems so far away in both directions doesn't it?  Yet here we are celebrating the gifts we received just over a month ago and what a wonderful assortment of books it was, once again you've all done me proud as the random recipes just started rolling in and I think they really show how varied our tastes really are...

and here's Anne from Anne's Kitchen with a Thai Turkey with Coconut Coriander sauce randomly chosen from Rachel's Favourite Food at Home by Rachel Allen 

next up is Amanda from Dancing Veggies with a glorious Savoury Mushroom Bread Pudding taken from The Heart of the Plate by Mollie Katzen

and here's Caroline from Caroline Makes with her amazing attempt at the GBBO Plaited Loaf recipe from Paul Hollywood

always thinking on her feet, next up is the lovely Choclette from Chocolate Log Blog with her scrummy Oaty Chocolate Chip Cookies taken from a Woman and Home Magazine Supplement from 1986 entitled Irresitible Ways with Chocolate

next up is Sally the Recipe Junkie and her Hairy Dieters Delight Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu taken from the Hairy Dieters Eat for Life book.

and here's Gary from Exploits of a Food Nut with a very chic Chicken, Mushroom and Noodle Broth taken from Nigel Slater's Eat

clearly Nigel Slater's Eat was a very popular gift this past christmas... here's Janice from Farmersgirl Kitchen with a very succulent looking Chorizo burger

and as if by magic here's another recipe from the lovely and clearly very wealthy Nigel Slater's Eat... this tie from Craig at The Usual Saucepans with a stunning Goats Cheese Frittata

and here's Stacy from FoodLustPeopleLove with a very impressive Pumpkin and Apples roasted with Brown Sugar randomly selected from Bountiful by Todd Porter and Diane Cu

next up is Kate from Gluten Free Alchemist with this very unctuous looking Banana, Apple, Walnut and Ginger Bread taken from the aptly titled 500 Gluten Free Recipes by Carole Beckerman and Deb Wheaton

and now here's Claire from Under the Blue Gum Tree whose been getting creative with Homemade Baked Beans taken from The Fabulous Baker Brothers: Glorious British Grub

next is Suzanne from This Upside Down Life with a very big favourite of mine - Beef and Lamb Meatballs with Broadbeans and Lemon randomly selected from Ottolenghi's Jerusalem

here's lovely Denise from Magnolia Verandah who, having received no cook books for Christmas took a sneak peek at her daughter-in-laws gift before wrapping to randomly pick this gorgeous Fennel and Coconut tart from The Green Kitchen
